陳英傑認為企業要做到可持續發展,在作出營運轉變的同時亦 需顧及產品質素。「營運模式的轉變或可提升生產效能,但若 企業不能同時維持或提升產品的質素,最多只可多接幾張生產 單,並不能長期保持客源。」此外,他亦指出培養人才的重要 性:「以自動化生產運作完全取代人手是個錯誤的觀念。正因 為應用自動化需涉獵機械、電子及軟件等多方面的專門技能, 推行自動化更需要不同人手去執行不同的功能。企業一方面要 加強員工對公司的歸屬感,另一方面應鼓勵員工作多方面發 展和學習,與公司共同成長,這樣才有機會打破青黃不接的局 面。」 Two Reforms to Reverse Corporate’s Stagnancy 兩大改革扭轉企業滯況 The soaring labour cost in the Mainland and the shift to customised manufacturing have brought many corporates into operational stagnancy. In order to overcome these challenges, KFM Kingdom Holdings Limited has established two key reforms in manufacturing and personnel management, which not only enhanced operational performances but also managed to control brain drain. 面對內地工資飛漲和生產模式漸趨個人化的轉變,不少企業的 營運都出現不景氣的狀況。為了打破這局面,金德鑫(深圳) 科技有限公司在生產和人材管理模式上推行兩大改革,不但大 幅度地提升了企業的營運績效,更成功堵截人材流失問題。 Sustainable Development of Corporates 企業的可持續發展 Chris Chan thinks that corporates should consider both the adjustment on operating practices and product quality in order to attain sustainable development. “A change in operating models may increase productivity, but corporates may only get a few more purchase orders without keeping the customers in a long run if they cannot maintain or enhance product quality.” He also points out the importance of nurturing talents. “Automation expels manpower’ is a mistaken concept. Since automation involves mechanics, electronics, software development and other expertise, it takes a diversity of manpower to execute varied functions. Corporates should not only seek to enhance employees’ sense of belonging, but also encourage employees to develop and learn diversely in order to grow with corporates for a chance to break free from talent shortage.” Execute Safe Manufacturing by Introducing Automation 重視安全生產引入自動化技術 Safety supervision is not only one of the highlighted agenda by President Xi Jinping, but also a trend among the manufacturing industry. Chairman of Hong Kong Metal Manufacturers Association and KFM General Manager Alan Suen stresses that safe manufacturing is top priority when considering corporate development. “Safe manufacturing is part of our core values; even the strongest corporate cannot develop stablywithout safemanufacturing. We incorporate safety factors into engineering operation from the beginning. For example, in 2012, we introduced three robotic arms to be responsible for dangerous procedures instead of simply appointing frontline manufacturing staff to follow safety instructions.We hope the idea of safety-first can be infiltrated from the management to all staff, so that personnel from all positions will keep this core value in mind,” Mr Suen says. Apart from safe manufacturing, data security is another major safety issue in the era of data technology.
