Introduction to Hong Kong Automation Technology Council 香港自動化科技協會簡介 Hong Kong Automation Technology Council (“HKATC”) was established as Group 32 under the auspices of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (“FHKI”) in 2015. HKATC members are specialised in production and process automation, related electrical and electronic systems, automation software and robotics. Members are being connected with more than 2,000 FHKI members, industry leadership and specialists, evolving to become a prominent platform for intelligent automation industry. Apart from rising costs, Hong Kong industries need to deal with other imminent issues like enhancing product quality, stability and productivity. Following “Made in China 2025”, a Chinese version of Industry 4.0, and the “Belt and Road Initiative” and “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area” development strategies, some enterprises adopted a positive attitude and innovative thinking, successfully tapping into these arising opportunities through industrial automation. In view of this, HKATC aims to facilitate and keep abreast of automation development and practical implementation, so to enhance the competitiveness and inheriting skills. To accommodate the needs of industries, HKATC provides industrial news, technological advice and professional training for enterprises to invest in the most appropriate intelligent facilities. HKATC consists of expertise from different backgrounds. Led by Council Chairman Robert Lai and Vice-chairman Chris Chan, five sub-committees are formed namely External Relations Trade Development & Mainland Affairs Committee, Education & Technical Training Committee, Public Communications Committee, Member Relations & Youth Committee and Technological Development Committee. Each sub-committee devotes to organise various activities, including but not limited to seminars, factory tours, study mission, exhibitions, training and social gathering for connecting enterprises with automation suppliers. 「香港自動化科技協會」於 2015 年成立，為香港 工業總會 (“ 工總 ”) 轄下第 32 行業分組，涵蓋從事生 產及流程自動化、相關電氣和電子系統、自動化 軟件和人工智能設備的企業。成立至今，協會會 員迅速增長，並連繫超過 2,000 家工總會員企業與 及各行各業的領導專才，一同推動產業發展智能 自動化。 現今業界除了要面對不斷上升的勞工成本，還要 著重提升產品品質、穩定性及生產力。隨著內地 推動中國版的工業 4.0 「中國製造 2025 」、「一帶 一路」及「粵港澳大灣區」等發展戰略，不少企 業以積極態度及創新思維去面對，並成功以自動 化轉危為機。因此，協會以推動智能自動化為宗 旨，凝聚業界力量，實踐智能製造，從而提升香 港企業的競爭力和技術水平。協會期望能配合業 界所需，提供相關政策訊息、技術咨詢及專才培 訓，讓企業投資合適的智能設備。 協會邀請了不同領域的專才，為會員及業界提供 專業的意見。在協會主席黎啟東先生及副主席陳 英傑先生的帶領下，協會執行委員會組成五個小 組委員會，包括：外務、貿易發展及內地事務委 員會、教育及技術培訓委員會、傳訊事務委員 會、會員關係及青年部委員會及科技發展委員 會，以籌組各項有關自動化科技的活動。活動包 括研討會、考察團、展覽會、專業培訓及輕鬆聚 會，加強各行業分組與自動化產業供應商的聯繫 與合作。 31/F, Billion Plaza, 8 Cheung Yue Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon 九龍長沙灣長裕街 8 號億京廣場 31 樓 Tel 電話 : (852) 2732 3188 Fax 傳真 : (852) 2721 3494 Email 電郵 : hkatc@fhki.org.hk hkatc.industryhk.org FHKI.hkatc 5
