The Council successfully organised a mission to Taiwan on 21 to 23 Aug 2024 with over 20 members participating.
The Council Chairman, Prof Andrew Young spearheaded the delegation's visit to the Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show and engaged in business networking session with Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA) to delve into emerging industry trends. In conjunction with the exhibition, the delegates also enjoyed the TAIROA 40th Anniversary Dinner on August 21, organised by the event's hosts. This evening event was a perfect occasion for networking, allowing delegates to connect with exhibitors, associations, and international buyers.
The delegation also visited AirTech, Eslite Logistics and NexAIoT to learn about advanced cleanroom technology, AGV robot warehouse system and cloud automation solution. This mission provided a platform for close learning and promoted exchanges between Hong Kong and Taiwan.
